Speaking seconds after the stage finish, the stage winner and Red Jersey Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) said: "We wanted a win and we got one. It was a really tough day and kind of stressful because of the echelons again. But the team did a great job. They set the pace and all we had to do was to respond to two attacks. It was super hard but I'm super happy to win. The UAE Tour is not won overall yet. A lot can happen in the last four stages.”
